Our story
This place started because too many people had nowhere to just… be. Cafés expect turnover, coworking feels transactional, bars are loud.
In a digital age where connection feels more fleeting than ever, we noticed something: Singapore—bustling, efficient, world-class—was starting to feel a little harder to inhabit. People were craving real, in-person spaces where they could exist alongside others, without needing a script.
So we repurposed a neighbourhood civil defence shelter, a humble space built to protect our roots, and turned it into something just as essential: a place where community could grow again, an emotional shelter.
We imagined a small, human room where you could bring your laptop, a game, or just yourself — and feel okay staying exactly as long as you needed.
Here, activities are just icebreakers. Belonging is the point.
